After an arduous 30 hours of travel, and living a life devoid of cereal for the past two months, American tennis star Coco Gauff finally got her hands on the coveted “Breakfast of Champions.” The young athlete, who has been featured on Wheaties’ iconic orange box for the past couple of months, savored her first bowl of the special edition Gauff-covered Wheaties upon returning home from Wuhan, China.
Gauff, who had just suffered a defeat at the hands of world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals of the WTA 1000, expressed her delight at finally being able to taste the cereal that had adorned grocery store shelves for so long. In a video documenting the momentous occasion, Gauff gave a shoutout to vanilla almond milk for complementing the Wheaties to perfection.
The verdict on the cereal? Gauff approved. She enjoyed her first bowl in two months, relishing in the unique flavor profile of her very own Wheaties creation. Fans can still get their hands on the limited-edition Gauff cereal box, as well as the previously released Billie Jean King signature orange box.
In addition to her cereal escapades, Gauff has also made waves on the tennis court. She recently secured a spot in the prestigious WTA Finals, joining the ranks of Elena Rybakina, Jasmine Paolini, and Jessica Pegula. Not only that, but the young phenom also saw a ranking swap with her fellow countrywoman, propelling her to the esteemed position of world No. 3.
With her taste of victory in both cereal and tennis, Coco Gauff continues to shine as a rising star in the world of sports.
